Dragon Boat Racing Paddles

Dragon boat racing is a lively, colourful and fast growing sport with competitions being held across Canada and internationally. I thought that the wooden paddles used by many race teams were bland and should be more vibrant and artistic.

I created some designs and found a company that could accurately reproduce my art directly onto the paddles. Once varnished, the indelible inks are impervious to water and sun light so images remain bright for the normal life of the paddle. I only use paddles that meet the IDBF racing specification.

The four standard designs shown cost $85.00 each. Team orders of 10 or more paddles are $75.00, a team or sponsor name can be added for an additional $3.00. Taxes and shipping costs are extra.

Custom Designs

I create custom designs on sets of 25 paddles for teams that want their own distinctive look. The Canadian Forces' Battle Dragons design is shown here. Quotations on request.
