Commissions

I know artists who do not undertake commissions on the premise that they best paint only those subjects that they choose.

My view is simplistic: I love to paint. All day, every day just would not be too much. I also work in a variety of media and on a range of subjects. Each has its own challenges, but, whether the piece is my choice or someone elses is immaterial. I am always motivated to create good works.

There are some caveats: my style has to meet the buyers end vision and, as with most artists, a degree of latitude allowed on aspects of composition, colour palette, lighting and mood of the picture.
